tenor banjo ,made by the slingerland co,and sold under the concertone brand. this is a very nice 17 fret banjo ,that has 22 tensioners on the birds-eye maple body ,it has a kind of tone ring ring as well ,neck is flamed maple with an ebony insert. in fine condition,presently strung as a longscale ukulele, but i can string it in 5ths for either jazz or irish tuning.it had a removable resonator on the back which is no longer present.
