Our traditional glass bottleneck guitar slide. Cut from carefully selected 100% recycled wine, sherry, brandy and Olive Oil bottles, these glass bottleneck slides give you a tone and ‘feel’ harking back to the days of the original Delta Blues slide guitarists.
Available in a choice of straight, tapered or curved sides to suit all guitar fingerboard radius options, we offer three differing ‘cut’ profiles ;-
…each bottleneck slide is then shaped and polished to a luxurious mirror finish, hard-glaze shine.
All of the ‘Standard’ range of glass bottleneck guitar slides are available in light or dark green glass, cobalt blue glass, or clear uncoloured glass with length options available from 30mm through to 70mm.
Our ‘Standard’ bottleneck slides are then individually packed and shipped out to you with it’s very own ‘Mojo Bag’ for constant protection.

Our most popular genuine glass bottleneck guitar slide. We take a ‘Standard’ bottleneck slide, separate the lip from the slide and shape both ‘cuts’ to any of the three profile options:-
…each bottleneck slide is then de-seamed and polished to a luxurious mirror finish, hard-glaze shine.
We can offer you a few custom style options to your ‘Redhouse’ glass bottleneck slide before final finishing & polishing; a ‘notch-cut’ can be added to either end of your bottleneck for extra playing comfort; and we can also engrave any name or personalized logo you may desire – just contact us direct for this service….You’ll never wish to play slide with a commercial Pyrex slide again!
Our ‘Redhouse’ authentic glass bottleneck guitar slides are available in light or dark green glass, Cobalt Blue glass and clear uncoloured glass, with the same straight, tapered or curved side and length options as offered with the ‘Standard’ bottleneck slide.

The Evolution €52.50

Tom Doughty is a truly unique slide guitarist in a world where that term is seriously over-used & abused. We got to know Tom through originally supplying him a couple of custom-made \'Ultimate\' lead-crystal glass slides - but to facilitate Tom\'s amazing slide style he needed extra weight without increased slide diameter.

Necessity being the mother of invention, Tom designed and created the prototype of this featured slide & asked the team at Diamond Bottlenecks to produce his idea of what we consider to be the perfect all-round guitar slide.

Tom uses his slide constantly, proclaiming it combines perfect weight & balance without the bulkiness of other \'traditional\' slides - and after two years & thousands of hours of playing in both live & recording situations the slide still performs to Tom\'s exacting expectations giving awesome tonal range, speed & pitch which no other slide can possibly allow.

Having the weight of heavy stainless steel & the tonal textures of pure glass in one complete package, this slide is perfect for intricate, balanced runs & has proved both rugged & hard wearing - as Tom says \"I\'ve dropped it a dozen times so far and it\'s still in one piece - the sure sign of a hard working slide player!\".

This is a truly unique slide - so unique that we\'ve called it the \'Evolution\' - a combination of requests from slide guitarists worldwide looking for the weight of steel with the tone of glass - 2/3rd\'s heavy stainless steel with 1/3rd glass insert bonded together as a seamless tube....two playing surfaces available from a single slide - utilizing the weight of the steel to offer smooth, sustaining glass tones from one \'face\' - and sweet, biting steel tones from the other...truly an \'Evolution\'!

The \'Evolution\' is available in two lengths - 58mm & 62mm; with currently one internal diameter offered - 20mm. We leave the internal walls \'unfinished\', thus allowing the player to pad-out the slide to their individual preferences regarding reducing the I.D. & general \'feel\'

Our dedicated range of solid glass lap & pedal steel slides are crafted from four alternative thicknesses of hardened clear-glass bar, depending on the player’s guitar preferences.

A variety of differing ‘nose profiles’ are offered – ‘bullet’ or ‘flattened snub-nose’ are the standard requested profiles, but any individual custom profile of your own preference can be accommodated, just drop us a line & we’ll be glad to help.

We take a ‘Redhouse’ glass bottleneck guitar slide, hand carve, finish and polish a 7/8 section from out of one side, leaving a small ‘ring’ of lower rim intact – and we proudly present our own version of the ‘reversible’ guitar slide in 100% glass! Available in light green, dark green, cobalt blue & clear un-coloured glass, this guitar slide allows the guitarist to switch from slide playing to standard playing without needing to stop and slip on a slide whilst in mid-song!
