My friend Kenny Johnson in the Shetland Isles spent many years developing this acoustic piezo system .Up to now we have tested and sold it for violin ,mandolin and guitar. The results are so good that i now recommend it to all my customers.The immediate response and natural sounding tone is absolutely brilliant. the violion system features a chinrest with pre-amp built in.It does need a battery ,so the weight is reduced , simply charge the system through the chord that comes with the pick-up for ca 2 minutes ,and you can play for 14 hours.
For guitar and mandolin a 9-volt battery is put inside the instrument.
